WHAT IT IS 

In many ISIS applications it is necessary to keep track of changing tendencies in data. It is therefore very important to analyze statistics on data collected in the ISIS database. The main goal of the system is to generate statistical data aggregated from the CDS/ISIS databases. The system works directly on the ISIS database. In order to perform a statistical analysis one has to define a spreadsheet. Once a spreadsheet is defined, it can be executed many times on a given database. Each run of the spreadsheet generates a result. The results are stored in a special ISIS database. They are identified by a spreadsheet name and the date of running it (you can collect statistics from various periods, and then compare them)

The results can be viewed by the system tools, or can be exported to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word or Internet browsers for publishing or further processing. One can also easily generate graphical visualization of the statistical data. Below basic functions of the system are described.

HOW TO INSTALL

• download the demo installation procedure (zipped)
• decompress the files in a directory
• run Setup.exe and follow the instructions. When installing the system, select the directory where you have access to your ISIS databases (by means of the dbn.par files)

FUNCTIONS

The system can perform the following functions:

• Define spreadsheets for statistical calculations
• Browse all definitions on a window and run calculations
• View the calculated statistics in the form of table, diagram
• Save the table as RTF, HTML, TXT
